Discover the beauty of St Matthew’s in Bloom, where visitors are invited to admire stunning floral arrangements throughout the historic church (entry by gold coin donation) and take a peaceful walk through the extensive gardens. The views across the Darling Downs from the grounds are simply breathtaking — a perfect spring moment to savour.

Browse the plant stall for something beautiful to take home, pick up a handcrafted treasure from the craft stall, and settle in for a classic Devonshire tea (or a cold drink) in the Parish Centre. It’s a wonderfully unhurried and restorative way to spend a Carnival morning.

A serene and special event that celebrates both the natural beauty of the season and the warmth of a welcoming community.

Archbishop's visit to Drayton Parish

We acknowledge the First Nations People of the land on which we meet, pray and celebrate God’s love.  We honour them for their continued spiritual connection to and caring for the land, skies, waterways and culture across Australia.  We pay respect to their Elders past and we ask for blessings on those who share the land now, that we will all walk together into a future in Christ.
